The sun comes out in Geneva (apparently quite rare). A quick travel series using the Olympus OM-D and 45/2.8 Macro – my backup lens while on assignment.
Enjoy! MT

Once again, great shots! I appreciate them more, after reading your critique of the contest pictures. It helps to enjoy these when I can understand all that went in to the shots, if that makes sense. loved the first one the most though. The through the store glass is really giving it a feeling of place.
Thanks Bob! There’s a lot of thought process that goes into a shot for me – some of it is automated and intuitive, some of it isn’t. The exact thought process will be the subject of a future article.
Fantastic Ming! I’m looking forward to it.
Very nice captured! wonder if you can post any photos taken by GF1 to see the comparison?
Nope, sorry – I don’t have a GF1.
Ming, some very interesting photos in this set, but I especially like the next to last one! Something about the statue over the steps, with the two windows in the gray wall on the right made me stop and enjoy its balanced simplicity.
Thanks Gregg!
Excellent Set. I like the toning and editing.
Thanks Georg!

Ciao, nice shots, the feeling l get is that this city is quite cramped, squeezing cafes and tables where they can, tall narrow lanes?
The older part of the city certainly is – but I think it also has a charm of its own (though I must admit I’ve never felt so poor in any other city on earth, including Tokyo.)
beautiful shots
Thanks!
