And if you feel the prices are off – make me an offer! Thanks – MT

Will you be replacing your E-PM1 with the E-PM2 or E-PL5? I’m very tempted myself.
Neither – RX100 now fills that hole, or the OM-D without the grip – it isn’t that much larger, and neither are pocketable.
Hey! Where is the RM1500 Leica M9-P?!! Sold?! :p
So have you decided the keeper amongst the M9-p, OM-D and D600?
You wish! I think all three will stay, but for the time being, I’m sticking with the OM-D as my travel camera of choice. The M9 seriously lags in high ISO/ low light capability – both in terms of raw sensor noise and the lack of any kind of image stabilisation.
I’ve read a review on the RX1 that it has the best high ISO performance of all full frame cameras on the market by Steve Huff. May be that will settle the M9-P. But the MSRP for RX1 in M’sia is almost RM1.5k more than the price offered in US tho.
I doubt it, because it has the same sensor as the A99 and D600; both are outdone by the D3s/ D4. I question the experience of the source, too…I don’t think I have ever seen a balanced or objective review from him with images that aren’t overprocessed or plain boring.
Hey bro, really interested in the GRD III. Can you email me some pics of the rub mark on the LCD and we can go forward? -murg
Will do, check your email.
Can you please email me the necessary pick-up/COD point? I am in KL, but have no transport
I would definitely like to buy the optical viewfinder for the Ricoh.
Thanks very much.
Sorry, it’s on hold for the moment – I have to update the listing. Will let you know if this changes.
Lowepro Slingshot 200AW RM150 Reserved, still on reserved? Interest to get it.
Still reserved – I’ll get back to you if that changes.
Curious about what will replace the Ricoh GRD for you? The RX-100?
The UI is unique but it is a fixed 28mm lens (that’s both good (excellent wide lens) and bad (not a zoom when you see a 50mm or 85mm eq framed shot). Does the RX-100 match up enough for you?
Curiously yours,
Kevin
The RX100 is doing the job at the moment. I’m very much a 28mm guy so the lack of alternatives doesn’t really bother me. If I’ve only got one lens – regardless of the camera – I’ll just work around it, and I tend to frame seeing the shots I can get rather than the ones I can’t.
